The engine

V6 Hybrid

Twin-Turbo V6 Hybrid

A ferociously high-revving twin-turbo V6 working with a trio of electric motors for a combined 1,200 PS, blending instant electric torque-fill with a hard, race-bred top end.

The Tipo F163 CF 120-degree V6 is derived from the engine in Ferrari's Le Mans-winning 499P endurance prototype, built in Maranello as the powertrain of the LaFerrari-successor F80.

The internal-combustion V6 alone produces around 296 bhp per litre, an extraordinary specific output for a road-car engine.
Ferrari chose a 120-degree V-angle because its width lets the turbos and exhaust nestle inside the vee, freeing up aerodynamic packaging.
Its core 120-degree architecture is shared with the 499P that won the 24 Hours of Le Mans, making it a direct racing-to-road transplant.
