Twin-Turbo V12

A hand-built twin-turbo V12 tuned to behave like a naturally-aspirated engine, with smooth low-rev manners but immediate throttle response, available in the Utopia with a true manual gearbox.

Developed by Mercedes-AMG to Pagani's exacting spec in Affalterbach, Germany; it is the M158 evolution of a V12 lineage tracing back to the naturally-aspirated M137 of 1998.

The Pagani-AMG partnership dates to the Zonda and was sparked by F1 world champion Juan Manuel Fangio, an early supporter of Horacio Pagani.
Each engine is hand-assembled, and Pagani offers it with a manual transmission, a rarity among modern V12 hypercars.
Its character was deliberately engineered to mimic a naturally-aspirated response despite using two turbochargers.
