Built in Maranello, Italy, this is the F140HD evolution of the F140 V12 first launched in the 2002 Enzo, the engine family that carries forward the lineage of Ferrari's original Colombo V12 of 1947.

• The same F140 architecture has powered Ferrari flagships from the Enzo through the 812 Competizione, growing from 6.0 to 6.5 litres over two decades.
• It introduces Aspirated Torque Shaping (ATS), software that electronically sculpts the torque curve in third and fourth gears, a first for a naturally aspirated engine.
• The crankshaft is 3 percent lighter and the conrods are titanium, helping the V12 chase its sky-high rev limit.
