Dual-Motor All-Wheel-Drive Electric

Two motors deliver explosive, all-wheel-drive launches with a near-instant torque hit, the GT versions turning a family crossover into a genuine sports-car-baiting machine.

Built on the Hyundai Motor Group's dedicated E-GMP electric platform, the EV6 was Kia's first ground-up EV, sharing its 800-volt architecture with the Hyundai Ioniq 5 and Genesis GV60.

The platform runs on an 800-volt system, enabling roughly 10-to-80 percent charging in about 18 minutes on a 350 kW charger.
Kia engineers tuned the EV6 GT at the Nurburgring Nordschleife, where it has lapped in the 7-minute-40s range.
In the EV6 GT the dual motors combine for around 576 hp, making it the quickest drivetrain offered on the E-GMP platform at launch.
