Built on Hyundai Motor Group's dedicated 800-volt E-GMP electric platform, the same architecture underpinning the Ioniq 5, Ioniq 6 and Kia EV6/EV9. The Ioniq 9 is Hyundai's flagship three-row electric SUV.

The 800V architecture allows ultra-fast DC charging up to 350 kW, enabling a 10-80% top-up in around 24 minutes.
E-GMP supports vehicle-to-load output, letting the car power external devices or appliances.
The dual-motor Long-Range AWD makes around 435 hp from its roughly 110 kWh battery.
