Ultium

Tri-Motor Electric AWD

Three motors deliver monstrous, near-instant torque and a 'Watts to Freedom' launch mode that fires the multi-ton SUV to highway speeds in roughly three seconds. It pairs supercar acceleration with serious off-road crawling ability.

Built on General Motors' Ultium platform and assembled at GM's Factory ZERO in Detroit, reviving the Hummer name as an all-electric GMC sub-brand. The tri-motor drive units are GM's in-house Ultium Drive design.

The 800-volt Ultium architecture enables up to 350 kW DC fast charging, adding around 100 miles in roughly ten minutes.
The tri-motor system can direct torque to individual wheels, and the platform enables the truck's CrabWalk diagonal driving feature.
The big double-stacked battery pack holds around 200 kWh of usable capacity, among the largest in any production vehicle.
