Derived from Hyundai Motor Group's long-running Lambda V6 family, the company's all-aluminum V6 in production since 2005 and built in South Korea. The twin-turbo six is the workhorse performance engine across Genesis SUVs and sedans.

The Lambda V6's first twin-turbo version, the 3.3-liter, debuted in the 2016 Genesis G80 before spreading to the Kia Stinger.
