Built on GM's Ultium architecture at Ramos Arizpe, Mexico, alongside the standard OPTIQ, and tuned by the same V-Series engineering group that developed the Blackwing sedans and the larger electric V-Series SUV.

• Peak output is gated behind a driver-selected boost mode rather than being always available, and the quoted sprint also needs launch control, so the headline figures are a best-case pairing rather than a steady-state rating.
• The charge port uses the J3400 North American Charging Standard, so a Tesla Supercharger stall works without an adapter.
• Continuous Damping Control reads the road and retunes each damper thousands of times a minute, which is how the car carries performance tyres without punishing the cabin.
• EPA certified this car twice, once for each onboard AC charger, and the faster 19 kW unit actually costs it range.
