The naturally aspirated LT2 V8 howls behind the cockpit while a front-axle electric motor adds instant low-end pull, giving a combined 655 hp and a startling 2.5-second 0-60 mph with all-wheel-drive traction.

This is Chevrolet's mid-engine C8 Corvette platform fitted with the same 6.2L LT2 V8 as the Stingray, now augmented by a GM-developed front e-motor to create the first electrified, all-wheel-drive Corvette in the model's history.

• The E-Ray is the first all-wheel-drive Corvette ever, and the first hybrid Corvette.
• Its small 1.1-kWh battery never needs plugging in; it self-charges on the move, and a Stealth Mode lets the car creep a few miles on electric power alone.
• The 2026 model year is the E-Ray's last; the hybrid AWD Corvette returns for 2027 rebadged as the Grand Sport X with a larger V8.
