NA V12 Hybrid

A screaming naturally-aspirated V12 that spins to over 11,000 rpm with a wail engineered to evoke the ultra-high-revving F1 engines of the 1990s, delivering its peak power right at the top of the tachometer.

Commissioned by Adrian Newey and designed, built and developed by Cosworth in the UK for the Valkyrie hypercar, then paired with a hybrid system to push past 1,100 hp.

It is the most powerful naturally-aspirated engine ever fitted to a production road car, making over 1,000 hp without forced induction.
Much of it is machined from solid billet, including titanium connecting rods and F1-spec pistons, so the whole V12 weighs only about 206 kg.
Its 11,100 rpm redline is closer to a 1990s Formula 1 engine than to any other road car of its era.
