Developed by Toyota Gazoo Racing, the 3.5L twin-turbo V6 hybrid is the architecture of the Le Mans-winning GR010 Hybrid prototype and the GR GT3 Concept that previews Toyota's GR GT sports car.

The GR010 Hybrid that defined this engine layout won every race of its 2021 debut season and took Toyota's fourth straight overall Le Mans victory.
Toyota's hypercar program deliberately uses a downsized V6 with hybrid assist rather than a large naturally aspirated engine, reflecting modern endurance-racing rule sets.
The road-going GR GT brand car ultimately moved to a new 4.0L twin-turbo V8 hybrid, but the V6 hybrid remains the racing bloodline behind the project.
