A compact twin-turbo V6 with peak torque arriving as low as 1,600 rpm for a strong, accessible punch; in NISMO tune it gains GT-R-inspired hardware for sharper response and a harder top end.

An evolution of Nissan's celebrated VQ series that also draws on the VRH, JGTC and R390 GT1 Le Mans racing engines, built at Nissan's Iwaki plant in Fukushima, Japan.

Each cylinder bank gets its own compact turbo, with electric wastegates and integrated exhaust manifolds to cut lag.
The Z NISMO version borrows wastegate, ignition and cooling upgrades developed for the GT-R NISMO.
It landed on Ward's 10 Best Engines list in both 2017 and 2018.
