The e-208 and e-2008 deliver brisk, quiet around-town pace from a single front motor, with the relaxed low-speed torque that makes small EVs feel livelier than their numbers suggest.

They ride on the e-CMP electric version of the Common Modular Platform, jointly developed by PSA (now Stellantis) and China's Dongfeng for compact cars across multiple Stellantis brands.

The very same electric drive unit is shared across Peugeot, Citroën, Opel/Vauxhall and DS small cars, a hallmark of Stellantis' modular strategy.
Peugeot traces its electric-car lineage back to the wartime VLV, a tiny battery-powered city car the brand built in the early 1940s.
