Nissan's Leaf, launched December 2010, was the world's first mass-market pure-electric car; the 62 kWh 'e+' arrived in 2019 with a more powerful motor.

The Leaf was the world's best-selling EV for much of the 2010s until the Tesla Model 3 overtook it.
It pioneered the CHAdeMO fast-charging standard, co-developed by Nissan, Toyota, Mitsubishi and Subaru.
The 62 kWh e+ offers an EPA range of up to about 226 miles.
