Twin-Turbo V6 Hybrid

A compact, high-revving 120-degree twin-turbo V6 paired with an electric motor for instant torque fill, delivering ferocious top-end thrust and razor throttle response with near-zero lag.

An all-new engine designed and developed by McLaren Automotive in Woking, England, debuting in the 2021 Artura as the first V6 ever fitted to a production McLaren.

Its 120-degree bank angle is a world first for a production V6, lowering the center of gravity and creating space for a hot-vee turbo layout.
The wide vee places both turbochargers inside the engine for sharper response and a more compact package.
The electric motor fills in torque instantly, masking turbo lag while the engine spins to 8,500 rpm.
