A modern common-rail turbodiesel tuned for low-end pull and efficiency, it delivers strong, quiet torque that makes a loaded van feel unstressed.

Developed by Ford of Europe under the codename 'Panther' by UK and German engineering teams, EcoBlue arrived in 2016 to replace the long-running Duratorq family in the Transit, Transit/Tourneo Custom and beyond.

The 'Panther' codename hides a clean-sheet design, not a reworked Duratorq, with a new block, head and fuel system.
In commercial trim the 2.0 is offered in a wide spread from roughly 105 PS up to 170 PS from a single architecture.
