Twin-Turbo V6 Plug-in Hybrid

A refined twin-turbo V6 paired with an electric motor that lets a near-three-ton limousine waft silently in town yet surge with effortless, layered torque when the petrol engine wakes.

The powertrain is shared with the Porsche Panamera 4 E-Hybrid, drawn from the Volkswagen Group's MSB platform that underpins both cars; Bentley assembles the Flying Spur in Crewe, England.

The hybrid system uses the same electric motor as the Porsche Panamera E-Hybrid, but Bentley retunes the petrol V6 to a higher output for the heavier Flying Spur.
It was the first Flying Spur in the model's history to offer a plug-in hybrid powertrain, and at launch it was Bentley's most efficient model.
