A twin-turbo 3.0-liter V6 plug-in that lets a two-and-a-half-ton Bentley glide in near-silent electric calm, then summons 700 Nm of effortless torque when prodded.

Built on the Audi/Porsche EA839 V6 (engine code DCBE) developed in 2016, with an electric motor integrated into the eight-speed automatic for Bentley's first hybrid.

The EA839 shares the '4.0T' V8's hot-vee design, mounting its turbocharging inside the cylinder banks.
The engine is shared across Volkswagen Group brands including Audi and Porsche, rebadged and retuned for Bentley.
A 17.3 kWh (later 18.0 kWh) battery enables up to roughly 32 miles of electric-only range under WLTP.
