The engine

7.3L NA V12 AMG

7.3L Naturally Aspirated V12

A hand-assembled, free-breathing AMG V12 that pulls with operatic ferocity to 7,500 rpm, the Barchetta spec producing roughly 789 hp and an intoxicating wail with no turbos to muffle it.

Based on the Mercedes-Benz M297 (derived from the M120 V12) and specially built and tuned by Mercedes-AMG in Affalterbach for Pagani in Modena, Italy. It powered every Zonda from the 1999 C12 to the final Barchetta.
