Two permanent-magnet synchronous motors deliver instant, surging all-wheel-drive thrust; the front motor decouples under light load for efficiency while the more powerful rear motor keeps the rear-biased, sporty Porsche feel.

Built on the 800-volt Premium Platform Electric (PPE) co-developed by Porsche and Audi, the same architecture that underpins the electric Macan.

The 800-volt architecture allows DC fast charging up to roughly 400 kW, taking the battery from 10 to 80 percent in around 16 minutes.
In Turbo guise the dual-motor setup produces over 1,100 hp, making it among the most powerful Porsches ever built.
The front motor switches off under partial load to cut drag, then re-engages instantly when grip or acceleration is needed.
