AMG's hand-built four teams with a rear-axle electric motor for explosive, all-paw launches and over 670 hp of combined output, the most powerful C-Class ever.

A plug-in-hybrid evolution of AMG's M139 (designated M139l for its longitudinal mounting), developed in Affalterbach and used in the C63 and GLC 63 S E Performance.

It is the world's first series-production engine with an electric exhaust-gas turbocharger, technology derived directly from the Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 program.
The electrified turbo can spin to roughly 175,000 rpm, spooling instantly to all but eliminate turbo lag.
