A naturally aspirated V6 tuned for smooth, dependable workhorse torque rather than boosted theatrics, delivering linear, no-surprises pull for heavy-duty van and cutaway duty.

Part of Ford's Cyclone/Duratec 35 V6 family built in Lima, Ohio, this PFDi version arrived around 2020 and powers the Transit lineup.

PFDi means it carries two injectors per cylinder, one in the intake port and one in the cylinder, combining port and direct injection.
It shares its core block architecture with the turbocharged EcoBoost V6 but runs naturally aspirated for durability and simplicity.
The Cyclone family it belongs to dates back to 2006 and has also worn the Duratec 35 name.
