A featherweight three-cylinder that thrives on revs and light kerb weight, delivering eager, frugal city-car performance rather than outright muscle.

Part of Suzuki's K-engine family launched in 1994; the 998cc K10B debuted in 2008 in the A-Star/Alto and went on to power the Celerio, built largely in India by Maruti Suzuki.

From 2014 Suzuki offered Dualjet versions with two fuel injectors per cylinder and a higher compression ratio to chase better thermal efficiency.
The same compact triple was used across a string of global Suzuki and Maruti city cars including the Alto, A-Star and Ignis.
