Dual Electric Motors

Two motors, one per axle, deliver Rolls-Royce's signature 'waftability' as instant, seamless torque, prioritizing effortless silent surge over sporting aggression.

The Spectre is the marque's first series-production EV and the fourth Rolls built on the proprietary aluminium 'Architecture of Luxury' spaceframe, which was conceived from the outset to one day accept an electric powertrain.

The battery doubles as roughly 700 kg of acoustic insulation, helping make the Spectre one of the quietest cars Rolls-Royce has ever built.
Integrating the battery into the floor makes the spaceframe about 30% stiffer than any previous Rolls-Royce.
A channel for wiring and climate pipework runs above the battery, leaving a perfectly smooth underfloor profile.
