A boosted 2.0-litre four delivering 276 hp with a broad torque plateau and an N Grin Shift overboost button that briefly bumps output for a hot-hatch-style hit of extra punch.

The G4KH Theta II turbo powers Hyundai's N performance division, the high-performance sub-brand shaped by former BMW M chief engineer Albert Biermann and developed at Hyundai's Namyang R&D center and Nurburgring test facility.

The 'N' name nods both to Namyang, Hyundai's Korean test HQ, and to the Nurburgring Nordschleife where N cars are honed.
Hyundai's N program is underpinned by motorsport in the World Rally Championship and TCR touring car racing.
