This twin-turbo V6 trades drama for cultured, effortless thrust, building boost smoothly to make the G90 and GV70 Sport feel muscular yet unflustered, with around 375 hp in the GV70 application.

A member of Hyundai Motor Group's long-running Lambda V6 family, developed in Korea and matured over years before the forced-induction version arrived for the group's heavier luxury Genesis models.

In the G90 flagship the engine pairs with a 48-volt electric supercharger that spins up before the turbos to kill low-rpm lag.
The same Lambda twin-turbo architecture does double duty across the lineup, powering both the G90 sedan and the GV80 SUV.
