The Junior is Alfa Romeo's first model built on a shared Stellantis small-car platform, with its electrified turbo powertrain drawn from the wider Stellantis parts bin rather than a bespoke Alfa design.

• The hot Junior Veloce flagship pairs its drivetrain with a Torsen-style mechanical limited-slip differential explicitly inspired by the one fitted to the mid-2000s Alfa 147 Q2.
• The electric motor is built directly into the dual-clutch gearbox rather than mounted separately, allowing brief electric-only crawling at low speeds.
