2.0L Twin-Charged I4
A supercharger fills in low-rpm boost while the turbocharger takes over up top, eliminating lag and giving roughly 300+ hp from just two liters with seamless, V6-like thrust. The twin-charging makes a small four feel far larger than its displacement.
This twincharged T6 is part of Volvo's Drive-E / Volvo Engine Architecture family, conceived from 2007 as Volvo's break from Ford-derived engines and built around a common 0.5-liter-per-cylinder module. It powers the S90 and V90 flagships.
