A muscular twin-turbo six that serves up V8-rivaling thrust with a deep wave of low-rpm torque, giving the big Navigator effortless, quiet pulling power.

Ford's flagship 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 grew out of the 2007 Lincoln MKR concept's 'TwinForce' engine and entered production at the Cleveland Engine Plant in 2009; the Navigator shares its high-output tune with the Ford F-150 Raptor.

The engine famously proved its durability by running the grueling Baja 1000 in an F-150 during a public 'torture test' development program.
It replaced the Navigator's long-running V8 in 2015, marking a major shift to turbocharged six-cylinder power for the brand's flagship.
The concept that inspired it was pitched as matching a supercharged V8's performance with V6 fuel economy.
