EcoBoost (Nano)

Twin-Turbo V6

A compact twin-turbo six that punches well above its displacement, serving up strong, quiet low-end torque ideal for effortless luxury-crossover progress.

Part of Ford's EcoBoost family and codenamed 'Nano,' it debuted in the 2015 F-150 and went on to power numerous Lincoln models, including the Nautilus.

Its block is made of compacted graphite iron, the same tough material Ford uses in its Power Stroke diesels and a first for a Ford gasoline engine.
That CGI block offers roughly 75 percent higher tensile strength and double the fatigue strength of conventional grey iron, allowing a lighter, stronger structure.
Despite being a small-displacement V6, it was engineered to suit the weight-saving aluminum-bodied F-150 truck before migrating into Lincoln luxury vehicles.
