3.0L Turbo V6 (SH-AWD)

A purpose-built turbo V6 with a single twin-scroll turbo and direct injection that delivers a meaty, responsive mid-range, sending its muscle through Acura's torque-vectoring SH-AWD for genuinely sharp handling.

This DOHC 3.0-liter was developed by a team including veterans of the NSX and Civic Type R programs, incorporates technology from the twin-turbo NSX supercar, and is hand-relevant enough that it's built at Honda's Anna Engine Plant in Ohio.

Despite sharing showroom space with the larger J35, this 3.0 has a unique block and shares only its 60-degree vee angle with that engine.
A limited 300-unit TLX Type S PMC Edition was assembled by the same Performance Manufacturing Center that builds the NSX.
Its turbocharger uses a twin-scroll design to sharpen low-end throttle response.
