Twin-Turbo Hybrid V6

A boosted V6 hybrid that replaced the old V8's lazy rumble with a wall of low-end torque, peaking at just 2,400 rpm for effortless towing.

Built on the V35A-FTS that debuted in 2017 in the Lexus LS 500 as Toyota's first-ever turbocharged V-engine; in i-FORCE MAX form it sandwiches an electric motor between engine and 10-speed automatic.

Despite the '35' badge and 3.5-liter marketing, it actually displaces 3.4 liters (3,445 cc).
It uses a parallel twin-turbo layout with one small single-scroll turbo feeding each three-cylinder bank.
The hybrid setup makes 437 hp and 583 lb-ft, up 56 hp and 182 lb-ft over the old naturally aspirated 5.7-liter V8.
