2.3L Turbo I4

A torquey twin-scroll four that gives compact Lincolns brisk, low-end-rich acceleration while keeping a refined, muted character suited to a luxury crossover.

This 2.3-liter member of Ford's EcoBoost family traces its architecture to the Mazda L-series block and is built at Ford's Cleveland Engine Plant in Ohio; it first reached Lincoln in the 2015 MKC.

The same basic engine, in higher state of tune, powered the 350-hp Ford Focus RS and the Ford Mustang EcoBoost.
It is essentially a longer-stroke 'stroker' evolution of Ford's 2.0-liter EcoBoost four.
Lincoln dropped this engine from the Corsair after the 2022 model year.
