NA V12 Plug-in Hybrid

A free-breathing, 9,500-rpm V12 that screams to the redline with the savagery Sant'Agata is famous for, now backed by three electric motors for instant torque-vectoring shove. It is the loudest possible answer to the question of how to keep the naturally aspirated V12 alive in an electrified age.

Built in Sant'Agata Bolognese, the all-new L545 replaces the Aventador's engine and headlines the Revuelto, Lamborghini's first plug-in hybrid, launched in the marque's 60th anniversary year as its 'HPEV' (High Performance Electrified Vehicle).

At roughly 218 kg it is the lightest and most powerful 12-cylinder Lamborghini has ever built, shedding about 17 kg versus the Aventador's V12.
The engine is mounted 180 degrees rotated from the Aventador's layout, with the gearbox now sitting transversely behind it to free up space for the hybrid hardware.
Combined with its three electric motors and dual-clutch e-gearbox, the system makes over 1,000 CV, putting the Revuelto in the four-figure-horsepower club.
