3.5L NA V6

A famously eager, sweet-spinning V6 with a hard-edged top-end snarl that gives even a three-row family crossover an unexpectedly willing, sporty personality.

Part of Nissan's celebrated VQ V6 family; the 3.5L version is most iconic in the 350Z, and the QX60 ran the direct-injected VQ35DD before switching to a turbo four for 2025.

The VQ35 earned a place on Ward's 10 Best Engines list for five consecutive years, helping make the VQ one of the most-awarded V6 families in history.
VQ production began in 2000 at Nissan's Iwaki plant in Japan, the same engine line behind the 350Z's cult following.
Nissan ended the QX60's VQ V6 era in 2024, replacing the six with a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder.
