A smooth, inherently balanced straight-six that spins up with twin-turbo urgency; in High-Output RHO tune it delivers V8-rivalling muscle with a lighter nose, sharpening the truck's handling.

The Hurricane was engineered by Stellantis (formerly Chrysler) at the Auburn Hills, Michigan tech center and is produced at the Saltillo Engine Plant in Mexico; it arrived to modernize the brand's lineup against forced-induction rivals like Ford's EcoBoost.

The Standard- and High-Output versions share about 96% of their parts despite their different power levels.
Cylinder bores are coated using plasma-transfer wire-arc spray instead of heavy steel liners, saving weight.
In the RHO it takes over the high-performance slot previously held by the supercharged Hemi V8 TRX.
