Three electric motors — one front, two rear — spin to 17,500 rpm to deliver instant, silent thrust, making the Folgore even quicker off the line than the Nettuno-powered MC20 it's based on.

'Folgore' (lightning) is Maserati's badge for its entire electric future. This car keeps the MC20's carbon-tub supercar bones but swaps combustion for an 800-volt electric drivetrain.

Folgore means 'lightning' in Italian — Maserati's name for its whole EV range.
Its motors spin to 17,500 rpm, far beyond what any piston engine could survive.
