Launched for 2021, the 4xe was Jeep's first plug-in hybrid, with production beginning in 2020. It pairs Stellantis's global turbocharged 2.0-liter four with a two-motor hybrid system, and the Wrangler chassis was engineered from the outset to package the battery.
