Quad-Motor Electric

Four wheel-mounted motors fed by a 1,200-volt silicon-carbide system, each one making more power than a whole hot hatch, combining into the most powerful drivetrain ever fitted to a production car.

BYD's e4 individual-wheel-drive platform taken to its extreme by the Yangwang halo brand, paired with a 30C Blade battery developed specifically to survive sustained full-power running.

Each of the four motors makes roughly 744 hp on its own, and all four are controlled independently.
The Blade pack can still deliver around 2,400 hp with only a fifth of its charge left, because the 1,200-volt architecture raises single-cell power density by about 170 percent over an 800-volt system.
Its certified 496.22 km/h run at Germany's ATP Papenburg was made on standard-fit road tyres rated beyond 310 mph.
Only 30 will be built for the entire world.
