Suzuki's first global battery-electric drivetrain delivers instant, quiet torque, with a top AllGrip-e version using a second rear motor for genuine all-wheel-drive traction rather than just extra speed.

Built on the HEARTECT-e skateboard platform jointly developed by Suzuki, Toyota and Daihatsu, debuting in the e Vitara as the marque's maiden EV.

Its battery uses lithium iron phosphate (LFP) blade-style cells supplied by BYD, an unusual cross-pollination between rivals.
The dedicated EV platform eliminates underfloor cross-members so the battery can sit flat and maximize capacity within a small footprint.
The all-wheel-drive AllGrip-e top variant produces around 184 PS and 300 Nm, the most powerful Suzuki road car drivetrain at launch.
