The engine

Synchronous Electric Motor (FWD)

A single permanently-excited synchronous motor driving the front axle of a full-size electric van, delivering instant, quiet torque tuned for smooth people-moving rather than sportiness. Top speed is electronically capped at 160 km/h.

Mercedes-Benz's EQ electric van, the EQV, derived from the V-Class/Vito platform and built at the company's commercial-van operations. It was among the first Mercedes EQ models to bring an EV powertrain to a luxury MPV body.

The lithium-ion pack has about 100 kWh installed but a usable capacity nearer 90 kWh, giving roughly 400 km of WLTP range.
On DC fast charging it can go from 10% to 80% in under about 45 minutes at up to roughly 110 kW.
The motor is a permanent-magnet synchronous unit producing around 150 kW (about 201 hp) and roughly 362 Nm.
