3.3L Twin-Turbo V6

A boosted twin-turbo six that delivers a deep, swelling wave of torque from just 1,300 rpm, giving the Stinger GT2 genuine grand-touring muscle and a willing, eager top end. It pulls hard and feels brawnier than its modest badge suggests.

A twin-turbo evolution of Hyundai-Kia's Lambda V6, the Stinger was engineered under Albert Biermann, the former VP of engineering at BMW M, and shares its rear-drive platform with the Genesis G70.

The GT2 hits 0-60 mph in about 4.7 seconds and runs to a 167 mph top speed, making the Stinger Kia's fastest road car at launch.
Development was honed at Germany's Nurburgring under Biermann's high-performance program, bringing M-division testing rigor to a Kia.
The same 3.3T engine is shared with the Genesis G70, G80 and G90, so the Stinger essentially packs a luxury-brand powerplant.
